The Rocky Mountain Deaf School (RMDS) is a pre-K to 12th grade public charter school in Jefferson County, Colorado.  The 50,000 gross square foot building provides state-of-the-art academic and creative spaces for 100 students. HB/a+p provided design advisory services to local design architect AMD Architects. DeafSpace principles guided

Gathering places along the main circulation spine foster social interaction and group learning through eye-to-eye communication.
